Lamb + Wool…

We run an efficient and productive sheep enterprise. The focus of which is to produce trade weight crossbred lambs for the domestic market.
We also run a self-replacing merino breeding program.

We aim to maintain 20 micron in our wool and generally shear in August to keep our clip clean of any seeds. We always class our hoggets annually to maintain a high standard of sheep with a big frame and a long clip.

We annually mate our caster age ewes to White Suffolk rams to breed some cross bred lambs for either the store market or run them through the feedlot.

Livestock includes:

• 5,000 mixed age merino ewes

• 1,500 ewe hoggets

• Seasonally run up to 1000 lambs through a small feedlot
